If you are a caregiver, this blog is a tool to help you possibly understand some of the trials and tribulations that you may be experiencing. For me, this is definitely an area of uncharted waters, and I am learning every day and want to share with other caregivers. If you have your own personal experiences, please feel free to share by adding a post. Picture is my Father and my Mother on the day of my wedding, March 22, 2008.

I hate to admit it, but . . .
. . . I'm stuck in a time warp - with daddy passing away on December 15th, we really didn't have a good Christmas, so I'm not wanting to put away my tree and decorations. Call me crazy, but my father loved Christmas and his very own decorations, so I've left them up. No one sees them but us here in the house, so what does it hurt?

It hurts nothing Tina. Do what you need to do to heal. Think of you a lot. Mary
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't hurt a thing for you to postpone putting away the Christmas things your Daddy loved so much. You'll know when the time is right. Maybe you could choose one thing that reminds you of him the most and just leave it out in a special place. Every time you walk by, you'll smile.
