If you are a caregiver, this blog is a tool to help you possibly understand some of the trials and tribulations that you may be experiencing. For me, this is definitely an area of uncharted waters, and I am learning every day and want to share with other caregivers. If you have your own personal experiences, please feel free to share by adding a post. Picture is my Father and my Mother on the day of my wedding, March 22, 2008.

The Monday after . . .
Bah Humbug. It's the Monday after. Call. Call. Call. So many phone calls to make, and seems like nothing got accomplished. Social Security Admin. is too busy on Mondays, "please call back at another time." It's another one of those days that I feel like I was so dog-gone busy but nothing to brag about at the end of the day!! Oh well, let's see what Tuesday brings me :-)

What used to be 3 is now 2 . . .
In loving memory, my father Doyle Lee Turner, May 20, 1932-December 15, 2010. Now that my father has passed, it's just my mother and myself, and now a whole new other life begins.

Children without the childbirth . . .
I never had children myself, but I now know what it's like to have children and all of the responsibilites that go along with it. I have 2 children now, both in their 70s, i.e., my parents. It is absolutely true what they say - the child becomes the parent and the parents become the children. The funniest part of all of this is I now understand why parents with children are always late for everything! Something always delays my leaving the house, I'm never on time for anything anymore.
